The Glory of Seeing Your Mash-Up on the Big Screen

Imagine everyone at MIX08 seeing your WPF/Expression blend-built mash-up before the keynotes. The glory is all yours if you creatively build a mash-up that shows MIX08 feeds from Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Digg, blogs and more-then enter it in the Flotzam contest here. The designer of best skin will also win an XBOX 360. To get started, download the Flotzam project. Be sure to read the instructions on how to restyle Flotzam and watch a screencast on templating Flotzam and a screencast on animating Flotzam.

HEY! WHAT IS GOING ON? how come the submission post is closed and it is not 11:59 on Feb 8th yet. Does this mean the man hours I put in are wasted. That kind of bites.

Too bad there is no gallery like the restyle contest. Would love to see them in action.

So who won the contest? I'm not sure if my submission was disqualified because I didn't have time to do at least 2 of the mashups (twitter and something else).

I think all the entries were so unbelievably terrible that they quiety cancelled the contest so they wouldn't be embarresed on the big screen by the monstrosities that we submitted.

They have been incredibly busy with getting Mix going and we should give 'em a break.

Maybe its both =X
